Welcome to Gift Planning

Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and its mission while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. With smart planning, you may actually increase the size of your estate and/or reduce the tax burden on your heirs. Just as important, you will know that you have made a meaningful contribution to the BSO.

Centennial Challenge—has been met!

Many thanks to the more than 100 donors who notified the BSO between September 2013 and June 2016 that they have included the symphony in their estate plans by bequest, trust, life insurance, or IRA beneficiary. In honor of the BSO’s Centennial, these commitments will provide essential financial resources to help secure the second century of musical excellence. To learn more about ways to help sustain the BSO into the next century through tax-wise giving, please explore the various giving options on these web pages or contact Sara Krusenstjerna, Director of Philanthropic Planning, at 410.783.8087 or skrusenstjerna@BSOmusic.org.
